School Girl

When I look back at my childhood, I remember thinking of food all the time. When the lunch bell rang, children all around me opened their lunch boxes only to fill the air inside the classroom with an assortment of aromas that I wish I could feast on. To this day, I pray that every child, no!, every being on this planet gets at least one healthy, filling, comforting meal at least once a day.

The Happy Brahmin food journey began with a simple idea of documenting and sharing my daily menu. I wanted to gather and showcase the simple yet powerful confluence of humble, everyday vegetarian, ingredients.

If you agree with me, then join me in learning how to take care of our bodies by way of some mundane, some cleverly re-invented but mostly comforting, home-cooked recipes. The Happy Brahmin is here to tease your taste buds with simple recipes that you’ve been taking for granted all these years. Let’s celebrate our modest meals, please. :)
